Randstad N.V. (“Randstad”) today announces that the third tranche of its € 400 million full share buyback program announced on October 24, 2023, to repurchase up to a maximum of 1,600,000 ordinary shares in Randstad has been completed. In the period between 24 October 2023 and 29 December 2023 (inclusive), Randstad has purchased a total of 1,600,000 ordinary shares for a total consideration of € 85,970,349.26.
Via the first and the second tranche of its € 400 million full share buyback program, Randstad purchased a total of 3,090,000 ordinary shares. These shares are cancelled as of today, 29 December 2023, taking the relevant rules and regulations into account. As a consequence of this cancellation of shares, the number of ordinary shares outstanding has decreased from 183,959,312 to 180,869,312.
In addition, Randstad has repurchased a total of 305,500 ordinary shares for a total consideration of € 16,414,963.56 in the period between 24 October 2023 and 29 December 2023 (inclusive) as part of its intention to offset dilutive effects from the Company’s performance share plans for senior management.
