Randstad Holding nv announces plans for a new organizational structure in The Netherlands. Randstad aims to create a more efficient and leaner organization to better serve its clients, while keeping the current brand propositions intact.
The proposed changes encompass:
Creating one joint management team of the new Randstad Group Netherlands.
Presently the Dutch operations consist of three separate organizations for Randstad NL, Tempo-Team and Yacht. The new team will report to Executive Board member Chris Heutink.
Combining all Professionals businesses, based on verticals.
In The Netherlands our existing Professionals businesses are Yacht (including FunktieMediair and Martin Ward Anderson), Randstad Professionals and Tempo-Team Professionals. By combining all these operations based on industry sectors (verticals), we strengthen our leading position in the professionals segment in The Netherlands. This process should be finalized by mid-2015.
Streamlining back-office processes and support centers.
As a result of the new organizational structure, staff and support functions will be integrated and the back-office will be streamlined. We expect to complete the implementation by the end of 2014.
The proposed plans simplify the structure we have had until now in The Netherlands. Growth in Professionals is one of our strategic goals. By building one Professionals business under the Yacht umbrella in the coming year, we create a stronger position in this market. It will also help in addressing client needs in specific market segments such as IT, Engineering and Finance.
Discussions have been initiated with the respective works councils of Randstad NL, Tempo-Team and Yacht. More details will be provided when appropriate.
