About the Youth Justice Team:
The Youth Justice Team works with young people who are at risk of offending or have come into contact with the criminal justice system. As a Senior Social Worker, you will:
Lead complex casework with young people and their families to reduce reoffending.
Conduct thorough assessments to identify risks, needs, and protective factors.
Develop and implement intervention plans focused on rehabilitation and positive outcomes.
Collaborate with partner agencies, including schools, the police, and community organizations.
Mentor and support junior team members, ensuring high standards of practice.
Promote restorative justice approaches that empower young people to make better choices.
What You Bring:
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker.
Current registration with Social Care England.
Strong knowledge of youth justice, safeguarding, and restorative justice practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
