Responsibilities
1) Reading and Interpreting Blueprints: Understanding technical drawings to accurately fabricate metal parts and structures.
2) Welding and Fabrication: Using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Flux Core, ASME welding) to join metal components according to specifications.
3) Precision Measurement: Taking accurate measurements and ensuring precise alignment during fabrication.
4) Material Handling and Preparation: Selecting appropriate metals, preparing surfaces, and ensuring materials are ready for fabrication.
5) Quality Control: Inspecting finished products for defects, ensuring they meet standards for strength, durability, and appearance.
Qualifications
- Must have 2-5 years minimum of experience in welding
- CWB are not required, but encouraged (expired or up to date)
- Experience with ASME / TIG/ MIG/ Flux core welding on stainless steel and carbon steel
- Fabrication cycle and processes
