Responsibilities
- interpreting size, welding processes, reviewing blueprints
- as a welder, you will be reviewing blueprints and welding according to plans
- as a fitter, you will be reviewing blueprints, cutting materials, and fitting accordingly
- assisting in training new hires as your experience grows
- maintaining a safety-oriented culture
Qualifications
- experience with Miller welders is a bonus
- able to read and interpret technical blueprints
- previous experience in a custom fabrication setting
- 2+ years of experience performing a variety of welding processes, mainly MIG, STICK, and Flux Core
-2+ years of experience as a weld fitter
- provide references that can attest to your work ethic and attendance
- previous CWB tickets in MIG, Flux Core or Stick a bonus
- live within an easy commute of Brantford
- reliable transportation - this role is NOT on a bus route
