We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to support our Federal Government client in transforming its website environment. In this role, you will collaborate on existing web initiatives and help shape the organization’s future web strategy, contributing to a modern, dynamic, and impactful digital presence.

Responsibilities
- Research and mentor the Drupal Solutions Team on best practices and standards to ensure proficiency in Drupal 9, focusing on its latest features.
- Enforce Drupal coding standards and best practices by reviewing work produced by the Drupal Solutions Team.
- Optimize front-end and back-end performance through reviews of configurations and implementations.
- Ensure added content types and modules meet performance standards.
- Audit existing implementations, provide recommendations, and implement improvements.
- Build and maintain multilingual Drupal websites to support domain detection and language switching for users.
- Enable seamless language transitions and enhance the multilingual functionality.
- Integrate Drupal with Search API and Apache Solr for enhanced search capabilities.
- Deliver in-person training and documentation to cross-train the internal team.
- Leverage Twig for efficient and customized Drupal theming.
- Create and deliver Twig templates according to client specifications and timelines.
- Utilize Drupal Views to create customized content displays.
- Implement Drupal security best practices, including regular updates and adherence to DSAs.
- Audit current implementations to identify vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Dockerize Drupal applications and deploy them using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Audit deployment processes for optimization opportunities and implement improvements.
Qualifications
- Valid Reliability level Security Clearance
- Recent and extensive experience as a Web Developer, with a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining complex web solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to build, customize, and maintain websites using Drupal 9, with expertise in advanced Drupal Views for creating dynamic displays and filtering content.
- Proficiency in Twig templating to develop custom themes and templates with clean, modular code.
- Expertise in performance optimization, including caching strategies, load balancing, and reducing page load times.
- Strong understanding of web accessibility and usability standards to ensure user-friendly and inclusive designs.
- Familiarity with modern development tools, including Git, CI/CD orchestration tools (e.g., Jenkins or GitHub Actions), and containerization platforms like Docker.
- Experience with automated deployment processes to streamline transitions between development, staging, and production environments.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for project management and deployment pipelines.
- Proficient in building and deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines, App Service, and other Azure cloud services.
