• Collaborate with subject matter experts to research, brainstorm, and develop messaging for writing assignments.
• Draft, execute, edit, and proofread various types of content ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practices.
• Publish and post content on our client’s website.
• Work closely with internal and external brand partners to gather feedback and refine content tone and voice.
• Produce 5-6 new content pieces each week, supporting a robust and high-volume content roadmap over the next six months.
• Recommend relevant imagery and graphics to accompany written content.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, journalism, communications, English, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of content or copywriting experience for digital platforms, including articles, newsletters, emails, website copy, and social media.
• Experience in writing SEO-informed copy and knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Experience drafting educational and course materials, and video scripts is an asset.
• Previous experience creating content for entrepreneurs or small business audiences is preferred.
• Experience in or a strong understanding of the financial/banking industry is considered an asset.
Skills:
• High standard of writing, editing, and proofreading skills (candidates may be asked to perform a writing exercise to demonstrate skillset).
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to adjust writing techniques and voice to adapt to different audiences (internal and external).
