Responsibilities
Oversee Daily Operations
Direct and assign tasks to warehouse staff, including Material Handlers and Order Pickers.
Ensure that orders are shipped, released, staged, and loaded accurately and efficiently.
Implement routing changes and adapt schedules as needed to meet operational demands.
Staff Management
Manage attendance and timekeeping, including scheduling and follow-up.
Review errors and follow up with staff to maintain accuracy standards.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.
General Warehouse Duties
Carry out additional duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively lead a team.
Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge is required.
Assets: Leadership experience and certifications such as Forklift, WHMIS, or TDG will be an asset.
