Responsibilities
- Manages the arrival of all equipment
- Verifies purchased products and enters order receipts into WESCO's computer system.
- Performs quality assurance inspections as necessary.
- Places received material, after separating back orders, into appropriate storage locations in the warehouse. If necessary, moves and consolidates equipment and notifies management of the new table locations.
- Removes, packs, weighs and labels material to be shipped (including assembly and holding orders).
- Prepares bills of lading and sends receipts.
- Help load trucks.
- Prepares local delivery records and performs additional responsibilities for dispatch note.
- Manages appropriate forms for materials expected to be returned.
- Inspects the condition of returned materials before completing return authorization forms.
- Removes inventory and sends it to the correct location where memo, sale or return to supplier is anticipated.
- Cleans the warehouse and parking areas and truck areas.
- Assembles and disassembles trash cans, shelves, shelves and tables as needed.
- Administers preventive maintenance programs for delivery of warehouse vehicles and equipment to ensure proper operation and safe practices in warehouse operations.
- Records verbal or written complaints from customers regarding their dissatisfaction with a product or service provided. Handles complaints by responding to the customer, taking necessary action to correct the problem, or refers the customer to the Director of the Complaints Department, if necessary.
- Manages inventory at the counter, if necessary.
- Can assist with over-the-counter products.
Qualifications
- Strong reading comprehension skills
- Physically capable to lift 50
- Moderate computer skills, ability to accurately record information
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Access to reliable transportation
- Steel-toed shoes required
- Stand-up Reach lifts and Order Picker Forklift experience of 1 year
- Forklift certification
