The role is offered on a permant basis and expected hours are 7am - 3pm Monday - Friday.

Role Purpose

This role is to help manage the flow of materials through a warehouse both inwards and outwards in a safe, efficient and accurate manner.

Reporting Structure

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive ,check and store materials in line with required GMP regulations.
• Ensure that all stock handled is stored correctly, safely and accurately within the warehouse facility and carry out stock taking activities.
• Provide scheduled materials to production through a pick and transfer process ensuring inventory system is updated accordingly.
• Provide other materials to production and QC when requested. Requests can be made on an ad-hoc basis and must be fulfilled in a timely manner.
• Undertake routine weekly cycle counting checks.
• Package products and prepare documentation for outbound shipments ensuring the inventory system is updated accordingly.
• The use of manual/motorised material handling equipment will be necessary and must be operated in a safe manner.
• Liaise with internal and external parties regarding material and logistical issues
• Operating of decon autoclave, disposal of waste - record keeping for EPA reporting.
• Checking first aid cabinets and keep them stocked, place order if needed
• Gowning and PPE inventory(Daily checks)
• Any other duties, as required.

POSITION SPECIFICATION

Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Knowledge and Attributes

Warehouse Operative

• Previous, proven warehouse experience and materials management from within a regulated environment with a good understanding of GMP/GDP.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced work environment
• Good communications skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Be able to work in a team environment.
• Good prioritisation skills
• Prior working experience with SAP is strongly desired.
