They offer excellent benefits and perks, reflecting their dedication to employee well-being.Role & ResponsibilitiesAs Vice President of Finance, you will be the strategic financial leader for the Japanese operations of this global luxury fashion house, overseeing all financial operations, risk management, and legal functions. You will play a crucial role in shaping the financial future of the company in Japan, working closely with the Asia CFO and the Japan President to drive sustainable growth and deliver exceptional results. You'll be a key business partner to the Japan President and other senior leaders, providing financial insights and strategic guidance. This role offers considerable influence and impact across the entire Japanese organization.Main tasks include- Lead the entire finance function, including FP&A, General Accounting, Retail Accounting, Tax, and Treasury teams.- Direct and facilitate strategic and operational planning processes.- Partner with the President and other heads of function to develop and execute strategies.- Manage relationships with external parties, including banks and legal counsel.- Collaborate closely with regional finance, risk management, and legal teams.- Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team.Requirements- 15+ years of experience in finance within a multinational corporation, preferably in the retail or apparel industry.- Proven ability to manage and lead large, diverse teams.- Expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, and Japanese GAAP, as well as Japanese tax law.- Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese, with the ability to present effectively.- Experience working with sophisticated ERP systems (SAP experience a plus).- A strong track record of success in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.#LI-Hybrid#LI-KN
