This is a 6-month contract, which requires 2 days per week onsite at our client's office in downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities
• Transform complex problems into elegant user experiences
• Engage in ideation, concept development, and experience innovation
• Create sketches, wireframes, specifications, prototypes, scenarios, and storyboards
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure design intent is achieved
• Advocate for the user throughout the project lifecycle
• Stay updated on current design methodologies, practices, and trends
• Participate in observational studies, usability testing, and other customer research
• Communicate conceptual ideas, detailed designs, and design rationales effectively
Qualifications
• Translate conceptual ideas into compelling customer experiences
• Shape the strategic experience design approach for projects and initiatives
• Demonstrate prototyping skills through various techniques such as sketching, wireframing, and interactive prototypes
• Proficient with design tools like Figma, Axure, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Understand web and mobile technologies
• Exhibit meticulous attention to detail
• Possess strong organizational, logical, and analytical skills
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ask insightful questions and communicate ideas effectively to diverse audiences, integrating feedback constructively
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate well in a team environment
Must Have:
• Prototyping skills demonstrated through various techniques: sketch, paper, wireframe, video, or interactive prototypes
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Axure, and Adobe's Creative Suite
• Understanding of web and mobile technologies
• Experience in an enterprise organization is essential (ideally a Financial or Tech organization)
