Ahrend's upholstery shop consists of various departments. As a furniture upholsterer, you are responsible for stitching fabric for the furniture industry. These can be fabrics for chairs but also partition walls. You set up the sewing machine, you work according to drawings and you identify deviations. You also collect and check the fabrics and apply haberdashery. This includes zippers, click strips, drawstrings and piping.
