JOB SUMMARY:
The main purpose Treasury part of the position is to pro-actively manage and take ownership of clients existing Loans (over €1.5 billion) and cash balance (over €80 million), and all future financial facilities and financial ratings.
The main purpose Financial Compliance part of the position is to be primary point of contact and coordinate external and internal financial audits, and annual returns to financial institutions and financial elements of AHB and Charities Regulators.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Pro-actively manage and take ownership of the clients existing loans with HFA
2. Manage and take ownership of clients existing loans with AIB & Credit Union
3. Review and issue weekly cash reports
4. Produce and issue monthly cash analysis to the Board
5. Review and issue loan analysis to the Board
6. Ensure all loan covenants and obligations under existing financing are adhered to.
7. Managing the Association's bank accounts, monitoring cash flows and ensuring adequate funds are available in relevant accounts for payment of the Association's obligations.
8. Key administrative contact for all banks and finance functions.
9. Manage new loans, cash deposits and bank accounts
10. Report on wider Economic activities, eg Interest rates, new funding opportunities
11. Manage Credit Rating agencies
12. Explore, secure and manage new funders including set up mandates in line with loan covenants
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with financial institutions and securing new funding
- Strong accounts experience.
- Previous experience in a similar environment is an advantage
- Qualified Accountant with Recognised Body
- Proficient in MS Office - excel.
