Scope
Reporting to the Manager, Flight Crew Scheduling Operations, The Line Check Planner is responsible for handling pilot line check plans, displacements, associated hotel bookings and deadheads, jump seat listings for TC/ADC/leisure/familiarization flights, supporting Electronic Travel Authority and Advance Passenger Portal APIS crew submissions, supporting ALPA crew legality submissions and supporting pilot training recovery requirements for sims, Line Indoctrination and other training flying events outside business hours.
Job Functions
- Assigning and handling of Line Check plans for all fleets
- Assisting with the recovery of simulator event for all fleets outside of regular business hours
- Processing displacements (recency, training, etc.)
- Booking Jump Seats/familiarization flights
- Pilot Additional Crew Listings (ADC) for mentoring, recency and/or TCS ETOPS ride along
- Processing training plan revisions/notifying crew members/booking DHs/hotels, etc.
- Assisting with after-hours training hotel/transportation/DH bookings
- Maintaining a shift synopsis and correspondence with Fleet Training personnel
- PQRM entries – (OE, QOE, IOE) – Rollover (monthly plan) /ad hoc (daily/weekly)
- Day-of Crew Scheduling liaison for fleet specific:
- Chief Pilots/MPQs/FEMs/Recency Training Coordinators/Sim Planners/IOE Planners/ART Planners/Contract Instructors/TC Inspectors
- Submit Legality Checks to ALPA
- Dual Passport Checks and Netline auditing
- After hours training event queries
- Monthly tagging of Supervisory Flying
- Supervisor Stat Reporting
- Conducting daily APP transmissions and processing Crew ETA applications for specific destinations: (SYD, BNE, MEL, DXB, TPE, AKL, DOH)
- Afterhours coordination and support for uncovered seat fills scheduled to start within the 48hr window
- Support Cargo supernumerary listings
- Afterhours notification of fleet training disruptions (sim breakdown/recovery, missed training event, QOE, OE, ETOPS, etc.)
- Assist with after hours training recovery for IOE/QOEs
- Maintaining proficiency and knowledge of all relevant policies, procedures, rules and regulations
