Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive Salary: Starting at £23,000 per annum with regular salary progression based on training completion.

- Full-time: 36.75 hours per week (Mon, Wed, Thurs 08:45am - 04:45pm, Tues 08:45am - 05:30pm, Fri 08:45am - 04:30pm).
- Part-time options available (must include Tuesday).
- Generous Holiday: 56 days school holiday plus Bank Holidays (effective from 01/09/2024).
Your Role:
- Teaching and Support: Follow individualised curriculum's, plan and deliver lessons focusing on communication and life skills.
- Behavioural Support: Apply theory-based interventions to enhance the quality of life for their pupils.
- Personal Care: Encourage and support pupils in maintaining hygiene standards.
- Progress Monitoring: Ensure teaching methods are effective and appropriate for each child's needs.
- Additional Duties: Assist with break time supervision and support activities like playground and snack time.

Training and Qualifications:

- Behaviour Analysis Qualifications: Teaching Ranks, Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT), Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), UK Society for Behavior Analysis (UKBA(cert)).
- Advanced Degrees: Pursue a Master's in High Incidence & Disabilities worth up to £13,000.
- Regular Training: Ongoing training in Safeguarding, Emergency Medication, Behaviour Management, Personal Care, Autism, and more.
What They're Looking For:
- Experience: Professional, personal, or voluntary experience working with children and disabilities.
- Qualifications: Minimum Grade C/4 GCSE in English Language & Maths or equivalent.
- Skills: Comfortable working with children who exhibit challenging behaviour and providing personal/intimate care when needed.
- Composure: Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
