Location: Navi Mumbai (Turbhe)
Position Overview: The Trade Marketing Manager will be dedicated to Modern Trade outlets. Our operations currently span over 500 Modern Trade outlets, with ongoing expansion up to 3000 outlets. The Sales Head will manage the activation of MT accounts. Post-activation, the Trade Marketing Manager will oversee in-store sampling activities, merchandising, stock and sales analysis, managing top outlets, chains, and SKUs, ensuring zero RTV, competitor analysis, and implementing trade schemes.

The manager will also maintain dashboards for all outlets, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each chain and outlet through data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Train and manage the sampling and merchandising teams to effectively promote the brand, enhance product visibility, and boost sales through strategic activities.
•
Strategize for each chain and outlet using stock and sales reports, current stock levels, and liquidation strategies.
•
Gather market insights, foresights, and channel understanding to design and decide on trade schemes.
•
Work with sales teams to ensure the effectiveness of consumer promotions, develop appropriate benchmarks, and implement a framework for assessing effectiveness.
•
Monitor competitor actions on the ground and plan strategies to mitigate challenges.
•
Prepare market-wise in-depth analysis on consumption, buying patterns, and plan strategies to secure market share using the marketing mix.
•
Develop marketing collaterals and ensure brand consistency across all MT chains.
•
Drive campaigns in coordination with the sales team to achieve targeted scores.
•
Coordinate closely with supply chain management and production to ensure timely delivery of products to all chains.
•
Conceptualize annual marketing strategies in line with business objectives and brand guidelines.
•
Drive all types of visibility (ATL/TTL/BTL/Digital in MT chains) backed by Brand Track Index.
•
Identify ongoing event and promotional opportunities, including dealer events, joint promotions, and sponsorships.
Must-Haves:
•
Advanced proficiency in Excel or any visual analytical tool like Tableau.
•
Strong data interpretation and analytical skills.
•
Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in trade marketing within the FMCG sectors and handling MT accounts.
Nice-to-Haves:
•
Experience in handling and maintaining relationships with top customers.
•
Knowledge of modern trade dynamics and strategies.
•
Ability to conceptualize and implement effective trade schemes.
•
Proficiency in developing marketing collaterals and ensuring brand consistency across various platforms.
