Responsibilities
Research, select, and purchase quality products and materials.
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical (industrial) systems.
Establish relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them to obtain the best prices.
Process purchase requests and inform management of order status.
Update inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained at appropriate levels.
Arrange transportation of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make informed purchasing decisions.
Coordinate with the inventory management team, management, and warehouse as needed.
Evaluate the quality of received stocks and report any anomalies to suppliers and management.
Qualifications
Communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to connect and collaborate with employees, peers, and management.
Attention to detail in handling purchasing processes, documentation, and compliance to minimize errors.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage stress effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.
Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
Ability to anticipate problems before they arise and manage them appropriately when they occur.
Willingness to embrace change, stay updated with industry trends, and adjust strategies to meet evolving organizational needs.
