Join Our Team as a Skilled Telehandler Operator!

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Telehandler Operator with a valid CPCS or NPORS certification to join our construction team in Swindon, starting on 6th January 2025. If you're an experienced operator with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic and professional construction team working on an exciting project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Telehandler to lift, move, and position materials across the construction site
• Assist with unloading and loading materials from delivery vehicles
• Transport building materials, tools, and equipment to various locations on-site
• Ensure the safe and efficient use of machinery at all times, reporting any faults or issues to the site manager
• Adhere to all site safety regulations, ensuring compliance with health and safety practices
• Work closely with the site team, including other machinery operators and tradespeople, to ensure smooth workflow
• Perform daily checks and maintenance on the Telehandler to ensure it is in safe, working condition
• Assist in general site duties as required by the site manager

What We Are Looking For:

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler certification (essential)
• Proven experience operating a Telehandler on construction sites
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive and reliable attitude with excellent timekeeping
• Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required
• A flexible approach to work, with the ability to assist in other areas of the site when needed
