We are seeking a Telecommunications Deficiency Specialist (bilingual) to support our client, one of Canada's biggest telecommunications firms, in their Vancouver office ( hybrid model). In this role, you will work full-time hours on a 12-month assignment.

Responsibilities
•Provide technical review for all new Wireless build, uplift, and transport activity, ensuring deficiency activity is completed within specified timelines.
•Review/Assess ongoing processes and procedures, identifying/streamlining opportunities and recommending new measure to improve efficiencies for FTR.
•Proactively analyze vendor statistics, exploring the data to detect and resolve problems resulting in fewer deficiencies.
•Oversee the follow up and completion of FTR administrative tasks such as deficiency tickets, outstanding work orders and financial activity.
•Demonstrate independent learning on new equipment to ensure that projects and deficiencies are completed to company’s specifications.
•Provide oversight and direction of third-party contractors while managing a varied workload of internal tasks.
•Various other duties as required.
Qualifications
•Bilginual in French and English.
•In addition to industry experience, candidates must possess a strong working knowledge of engineering and operational processes within Telecommunications.
•A degree/diploma in Project Management or telecommunication technology complemented by 1 to 3 years related experience.
•Experience with network planning and installation of Wireless/Wireline networks and associated hardware and equipment with a comprehensive understanding of cellular and fibre transport concepts.
•Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
•Goal oriented with the ability to work in a challenging environment.
•A positive, "can-do" attitude and client-driven approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy, and sincerity.
•Candidate must have their own vehicle and a valid drivers license
