As a Team Lead for the Commercial Lines department, you will be responsible for the profitable growth and development of business through brokers.
The ideal candidate would be expected to maintain and develop customer relations, identifying and developing new products, services/new market segments. You will be required to develop and manage broker schemes and develop new products through broker distribution and monitor the underwriting trends and results.
In order to be successful in this position, you will be required to achieve premium growth and coach/train/mentor new juniors and other team members.
Skills and experience required
... - 7+ years of experience as a producing underwriter or business development/distribution
- Strong product knowledge on commercial lines products, focusing on Property & Casualty
- Proven track record and strong connections with brokers and ability to build relationship
- Some team management/leadership experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
