As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting teachers and pupil's in and out of the classroom. From assisting with lesson preparation to providing one-on-one support, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a pupil's learning journeys.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupil's Learning: Assisting pupil's with their academic work, either in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, helping pupil's understand and complete their tasks.
- Classroom Management: Helping maintain a positive and conducive learning environment. Assisting with managing pupil behaviour and maintaining discipline.
- Preparation of Learning Materials: Preparing classroom resources and materials as directed by the teacher.
- Administrative Support: Assisting with record-keeping, such as logging pupil progress and attendance.
- Supporting the Teacher: Assisting the teacher with lesson planning and curriculum delivery and providing feedback to the teacher on pupil's progress and areas needing attention.
- Extracurricular Activities: Supporting extracurricular activities, school trips, and other events.
- Safeguarding and Health & Safety: Ensuring the safety and well-being of pupil's at all times.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with pupil's, teachers, parents, and other staff members.
- Ability to remain calm and patient, especially when working with pupil's who have special needs or exhibit challenging behaviour.
- Skills in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Strong organisational skills to manage classroom resources and keep accurate records.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this)
- Good knowledge of the UK national curriculum.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills.
