Role Overview:
Randstad Education is actively seeking experienced teaching assistants who are dedicated to provide learning support to the primary children and assist the teacher in smooth running of the class and thereby making significant change in the lives of children, contribute to their personal, professional and academic success.
Position: Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Plymouth
Pay Rate: £85-90 per day
Job Type: Full time Long term
Start Date: Immediate
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher to support the learning and development of students. You will play a key role in helping children achieve their potential by providing both individual and group assistance. This is a hands-on, rewarding position where you'll be actively involved in a child's educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the teacher in delivering lessons, helping students engage with the curriculum
- Work closely with students who need extra help
- Help students build confidence, independence, and a love for learning, motivating them to reach their personal goals
- Support the teacher in assessing and tracking student progress
- Communicate the child's progress with parents, teacher and the staff
- Follow school's safeguarding policies and procedures
Required skills & Qualities:
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the update service ( we can help you if you don't have)
- Able to provide 2 professional references
- Relevant experience in the educational setting
- Excellent communication and empathetic skills
- A genuine interest in supporting children
