Key Responsibilities:
- Individualised Support: Provide tailored assistance to SEN students, adapting teaching methods to cater to their unique learning needs.
- Lesson Assistance: Work closely with classroom teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons that accommodate the diverse needs of SEN students.
- Collaborative Planning: Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement and review individualised education plans.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and assess student progress, offering feedback and adjusting support strategies as needed.
- Positive Environment: Foster a supportive and encouraging classroom atmosphere, helping SEN students build confidence and actively participate in their education.
- Resource Utilisation: Utilise a variety of educational resources and assistive technologies to enhance learning experiences for SEN students.
- Behaviour Management: Assist in managing classroom behaviour, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience working with SEN students is beneficial, but we welcome candidates with a genuine passion for making a positive impact.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
