The number 1 specialist school in county is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant for a full time, long term role (term time only) to start ASAP. This is a fabulous opportunity for a individual that enjoys working on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis supporting with themed learning, topic based learning, creative activities and outdoor learning. Applicants for this role need to be nurturing, patient and committed to making learning accessible to children with severe and complex learning difficulties including Autism. This post is needed on a permanent basis starting in January 2024. Applicants must be available Monday - Friday 8:30-4:30pm. The school in question boasts brilliant grounds, outstanding resources and outdoor learning spaces. The setting currently educates learners from the age of 4 to 16 years and is both a primary and secondary provision. This is a fabulous opportunity not to be missed.

All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable but not essential)
Relevant teaching Assistant and SEN experience would be desirable but not essential (Must be able to provide references)
Eligibility to work in the UK
A candidate who has the desire to support SEN learners with complex needs
Responsibilities:
Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
Supporting learners with severe and complex needs
Working with the teacher to support the learning objectives
