We're in need of a caring and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support KS1 pupils with mild SEN needs. Your expertise in individualised learning strategies will create a nurturing and inclusive environment, enabling these young learners to flourish. You will be working into a full time position (8.30 AM -3.30 PM - Monday to Friday) for the school based out of Leeds, LS9 area.

Roles & responsibilities:
... - Supporting students with personal care tasks, when necessary, to ensure their safety, well-being, and participation in school activities.
- Regularly assessing and documenting students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents, and adjusting support strategies as needed.
- Working closely with teachers and other educational professionals to coordinate support and ensure a cohesive approach to students' learning and development.
- Modifying teaching approaches to accommodate diverse learning styles and help students with SEN engage actively in classroom activities.
- Offering one-on-one assistance to KS1 students with special educational needs, tailoring support to meet their specific learning requirements.
Requirements:
- Experience in working with pupils with special educational needs.
- A genuine passion for supporting children education and helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
- The ability to adapt teaching methods and approaches to suit individual learning styles and cater to the unique needs of students.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the student's education.
- Strong patience and empathy are crucial in working with children who may face challenges or require additional support.
