We are seeking a committed and experienced Teaching Assistant (Behavioural) to join our team in Castleford. This is a full-time position starting in September and running until December.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with behavioural needs is essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
Responsibilities:
- Support students with behavioural needs in a secondary school environment.
- Work closely with teachers to implement behaviour management strategies.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Provide one-on-one support and small group interventions.
- Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the well-being and academic success of students.
