Randstad, the trusted provider of cover staff for a large 2-form entry Church of England primary school in Preston, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 and KS2 Teachers to join our team. Due to increasing demand, we have multiple opportunities for both day-to-day and long-term placements across various year groups.
About the Role: As a KS1 or KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring excellent classroom management. We are looking for individuals who are adaptable, committed, and possess strong behavior management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to support the school's objectives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2 (ECTs are welcome to apply).
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Adaptability and willingness to cover various year groups as needed.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Desirable:
- Experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
