Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a Teacher of Technology to support our client in Sheffield. The secondary school is located in Sheffield S8 and is dedicated to ensuring their students receive quality education and support to build curiosity, consideration and commitment.

The secondary school is looking for a Teacher of Technology who can immerse themselves in the role to inspire and enhance students' understanding and knowledge of the Design Technology curriculum.
This job is for a full time vacancy and is to start September 2024. All applicants must be available and eligible to work full time and available to start in September with potential for interview before the end of the current academic year.

To be successful in the Teacher of Technology role, you should:
- (Must) Hold QTS qualification or equivalent.
- (Must) Hold a DT qualification.
- (Must) Hold eligibility to work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to process one through Randstad).
- Previous experience teaching KS3/ KS4.
- Previous experience teaching the DT curriculum.
- A passion for DT!
- Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
As a Teacher of Technology, you will be:
- Creating and presenting inspiring DT lessons.
- Complete risk assessments and preparations for practicals.
- Marking and assessing students' work.
- Ensure students are working towards objectives and the DT curriculum.
- Manage the classroom to support all students' learning needs.
- Build rapport with your students and other members of the DT department.
