We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Physics to join our dynamic team at a thriving secondary school in Leeds. This full-time role is set to commence in September and offers the opportunity to teach both GCSE and A-Level Physics.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Strong subject knowledge in physics, with the ability to teach both GCSE and A-Level.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
- Commitment to maintaining high educational standards and continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality physics lessons to students at Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Prepare and implement lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and school standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for the subject.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching and learning.
- Participate in school events, parent meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
