About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher to join one of our dynamic secondary schools in Leeds! This exciting part-time, temporary role offers the chance to inspire young minds, fostering creativity, confidence, and collaboration. The role is start in January 2025

Pay Rate: £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates considered)
Contract: Long term, Part-Time
Essential Requirements:
... - QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- A genuine passion for Drama and the ability to inspire creativity in students.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

- Strong communication skills to engage and inspire students.
- Ability to contribute innovative ideas to a team and department.
- Proficiency in acting and directing, with the ability to lead and guide students in performances.
- Building a positive rapport with students and colleagues.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Creative thinking and a proactive approach to teaching.
- Experience mentoring and supporting students in their academic and creative development.
- A thorough knowledge of the Drama curriculum and how to effectively deliver it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated Drama lessons that captivate and inspire students.
- Foster student confidence and self-expression through performance and creative exploration.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and track improvements.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as school productions, drama clubs, or workshops.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Formative and summative assessment
