Role Overview:The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success across the organization in Japan, with scope to support regional hiring when required. Partnering with the local HR Manager, this role involves managing the full-cycle recruitment process and filling a portfolio of vacancies. The position requires utilizing traditional sourcing strategies while also developing innovative recruitment approaches. A key focus will be on improving the quality of hires by providing hiring managers with a strong selection of top talent.Key Responsibilities:•Manage a portfolio of requisitions and ensure successful hiring outcomes.•Utilize direct sourcing techniques and best practices to implement cost-effective talent acquisition strategies.•Work closely with the local HR team, Talent Acquisition, and the Regional TA Director to ensure smooth recruitment processes, managing expectations for both hiring managers and candidates.•Develop strong partnerships with hiring managers to ensure a steady pipeline of talent for current and future business needs.Key Responsibilities:Planning (25%)•Partner with HR colleagues and hiring managers to develop creative recruitment strategies for both immediate hiring needs and long-term workforce planning.•Plan and execute recruitment events such as career fairs and networking sessions to support hiring objectives.•Leverage innovative sourcing methods, including social media, job boards, professional networks, and universities, to attract top candidates.•Contribute to the development of talent acquisition programs and recommend process improvements to enhance recruitment effectiveness.Execution (60%)•Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding.•Support multi-site recruitment by working with hiring managers and candidates remotely and in-person.•Ensure all job postings follow standardized practices and company policies.•Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to reduce reliance on external recruitment agencies.•Build a strong pipeline of passive candidates through proactive outreach and networking.•Monitor and refine recruitment metrics, providing data-driven insights and reporting to business leaders.•Develop and promote employer branding initiatives to enhance talent attraction in the Japan and Korea markets.•Ensure compliance with company policies and local hiring regulations, maintaining proper documentation and record-keeping.Reporting & Communication (10%)•Ensure 100% compliance with applicant tracking system (ATS) usage.•Provide clear and concise reports to HR and business leaders on recruitment progress and challenges.•Develop action plans to address hiring gaps and ensure leadership is informed of progress.•Foster strong relationships with HR colleagues and key business stakeholders.Special Projects (5%)•Participate in cross-functional teams related to talent acquisition and HR initiatives.•Lead or contribute to special programs, such as employee engagement initiatives or talent development projects.•Support company-wide events and activities related to talent attraction and retention.

Qualifications & Experience:
•Experience in recruitment within an internal corporate, RPO, or agency environment.
•Strong expertise in candidate sourcing, utilizing channels such as:
oProfessional networking
oSocial media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn)
oJob boards and industry-specific resources
•Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment data management.
•Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment with remote teams.
•Strong analytical skills, particularly regarding compensation structures and internal equity.
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Key Competencies:
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
