about the Job
We are looking for a highly skilled Functional Analyst with expertise in AML systems to join our client's dynamic team. This role involves analyzing project scope, defining functional specifications, and working closely with developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of AML system enhancements, from design through deployment, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
skills and Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in implementing and optimizing AML systems in banking, with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and financial crime risk management.
- Hands-on experience with configuring and customizing the NetReveal platform, including integrations, rule setups, and system workflows for transaction monitoring and reporting.
- Strong expertise in writing optimized SQL and PL/SQL queries for data transformation, ETL processes, and performance tuning in large-scale Oracle databases.
- Advanced skills in Unix shell scripting (Bash, Korn Shell) for automating tasks, data processing, and system monitoring in enterprise environments.
- Experience with DevOps tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, Control-M, and Aldon for source control, automated deployment, and release management.
- Proven ability to lead design workshops and translate complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Strong understanding of the operational impact of design decisions in large, mission-critical systems, with a focus on performance, scalability, and compliance.
