In this position your main tasks will be the following:
...- Provision / operation of customer’s system 24/7
- Current systems upkeep / care / maintenance / upgrades
- Analysis and removal of occurring problems
- Constant communication to involved units and partners
- Reporting
- Preparing/making presentations for clients and introducing/teaching system functions to colleagues through internal training, if required
In a 4 weeks period of time:
- 2 weeks in day shift (10am - 6 pm with some flexibility)
- 2 weeks in morning/afternoon/night shift
- 1 max 2 days on-call on weekend
Elvárások / Requirements
- minimum of 3 year’s relevant experience – it's a must have
- solid knowledge of Linux Server systems
- knowledge of database systems
- have application containerization expertise
- have good understanding in high availability solutions, IP networking, virtualization, storage and backup systems, server hardware
- excellent English, good German is a plus
- work well under pressure and be a team player
- being able to handle multi-shift work order (predictable and flexible shifting-plan)
- know what ITIL means
- Bachelor's degree is an advantage
- Windows systems knowledge is an advantage
- MS SQL, Oracle Database and Application Servers are advantages
