As a Surfacing Supervisor, you will play a vital role in managing and supervising our surfacing operations from start to finish. Your keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and coordinating surfacing projects, including roadways, parking lots, and other surfaces.
- Managing a team of surfacing professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Monitoring work progress, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
- Conducting site inspections, identifying any issues or risks, and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborating with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Managing material and equipment inventory, ensuring availability and proper maintenance.
- Ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets, optimising efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Surfacing Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of surfacing techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in project management and scheduling software.
- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
