Critical Tasks and Responsibilities:
Compliance:Assist the Safety Manager in ensuring adherence to all statutory requirements related to safety.
Liaise with factory inspectors and other statutory officers, addressing their observations and remarks regarding a safe working environment.

Safety Inspections and Audits:Conduct plant safety inspections and safety audits.
Prepare reports and provide recommendations based on findings.
Development and Implementation:Develop safety manuals and work instructions.
Assist various departments in implementing and complying with safety procedures.
Safety Training:Support the Safety Manager in delivering safety training programs to all categories of permanent and temporary employees.
Track and report the programs conducted and employees covered.
Safety Statistics and Analysis:Maintain safety statistics, analyze trends, make recommendations, and disseminate information.
Accident Investigation and Analysis:Investigate and analyze accidents and near misses.
Assist departments in improving safety standards and performance.
Provide quality analysis and facilitate the implementation of improvement measures.
Safety Promotion:Organize safety promotional and awareness programs.
Analyze the success of these programs and report on their implementation.
Implementation of Safety Techniques:Ensure the inflow of the latest techniques, methodologies, and equipment for a safe working environment.
Support the implementation of company safety initiatives in the unit.
Safety Standards:Ensure safety standards are communicated and updated as per ADANI and statutory bodies.
Verify that all equipment drawings and layout drawings comply with the Factory Act and Electrical Act requirements.
Promoting OH&S Aims:Promote the achievement of the company's Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) aims and targets.
Drive compliance with company OH&S policies, principles, procedures, and practices.
Qualifications:
Preferred Education:Degree/Diploma in Engineering.
Postgraduate degree or diploma in Industrial Safety.
Preferred Professional Memberships:Safety Engineering professionals.
Preferred Experience:3–7 years of experience in handling safety in continuous process industries such as petrochemicals, steel, cement, etc.
Computer Skills:End-user proficiency.
Language Requirements:Proficiency in English and Hindi.
Good command of the local language.
Age Requirement:21 to 35 years old.
Competencies:
Persuasive communication and influencing skills.
Innovation in safety practices.
