Do you have a passion for supporting students of all abilities and fostering a love of learning?
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate teaching assistant to join our dynamic team in East Grinstead. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in creating a positive and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual or small group support to students, addressing their unique learning needs with personalised guidance.
- Assist in implementing differentiated instruction by adapting materials and activities to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
- Work alongside the teacher to deliver engaging lessons, supporting activities, managing resources, and ensuring active student participation.
- Help maintain a positive classroom environment through effective management strategies, clear expectations, and consistent routines.
- Use proactive and positive behaviour management techniques to foster a respectful and inclusive space where all students feel supported.
- Maintain flexibility in teaching methods, adjusting to evolving classroom dynamics and student needs as required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Patient, understanding, and maintaining a positive attitude when working with students of all abilities.

- A willingness to learn and adapt to different classroom settings.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in education or child development are a plus.
