Randstad, in collaboration with the NSW Electoral Commission, is seeking proficient Supervisors to join our team for the Local Government Elections 2024.
About the role:
The Supervisor will be responsible for managing workflows within teams, training and supervising team members, allocating work, certifying results, and liaising with other managers and supervisors. Some lifting may be required in these roles.

... - Oversee and manage workflows within teams to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate with other managers and supervisors to optimize coordination and collaboration across teams.
- Provide training and guidance to teams to ensure that all team members are proficient in their roles and responsibilities.
- Supervise and mentor team members to support their professional development and performance improvement.
- Supervise the allocation of work, ensuring that tasks are distributed evenly and completed in a timely manner.
- Monitor workloads and adjust staffing levels as needed to meet operational demands.
- Verify and certify that results are correct prior to entry into the NSWEC election system.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data to maintain integrity and reliability of election results.
- Maintain open communication and collaboration with other managers and supervisors involved in the counting and results processes.
- Coordinate activities and resolve issues as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in supervising and managing teams, with strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Ability to effectively delegate tasks, provide constructive feedback, and support team members in achieving their goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Capacity to make decisions under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with data entry, spreadsheet software, and election management systems.
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate new software applications and systems
