We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Site Agent to join a team on a major civil engineering project for Severn Trent Water in Birmingham. This project plays a crucial role in ensuring the continued delivery of clean and safe water to the region.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and managing all site operations on a large-scale civil engineering project.
- Overseeing the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Implementing and maintaining strict health and safety protocols on site.
- Preparing reports and documentation, managing progress, and resolving any issues.
- Liaising with the Project Manager and other key stakeholders.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience as a Site Agent on large-scale civil engineering projects, ideally within the water industry.
- A strong understanding of construction techniques, health and safety regulations, and quality control processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex situations.
- A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., project management software, AutoCAD).
