As part of its continuous growth, they are seeking a Corporate Communications Manager who would play a critical role in managing media relations, crafting compelling narratives, and effectively handling issues or crises that may arise in a dynamic and competitive industry
About the role
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Communications
- Develop and execute comprehensive corporate communication strategies to support business objectives and enhance the organization’s public image.
- Lead and manage media relations efforts, including drafting press releases, speech writing, and responding to media inquiries.
- Handle issues management effectively, ensuring clear, timely, and impactful communication during crises.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce clear, factual, and relevant written materials, including speeches, reports, and presentations.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute projects, ensuring delivery within stipulated objectives and timelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with peers, senior management, and external stakeholders, including the media, to foster positive outcomes.
- Leverage technology and digital tools to streamline communication processes and ensure efficient project management.
Skills and experience required
- Proven track record of successfully leading projects and achieving communication objectives.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, including speech writing, with a passion for crafting impactful messages.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities, with a proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence peers, subordinates, senior leaders, and media professionals.
