About the role
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Communications
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that align with the company’s goals and enhance its public image.
- Manage the preparation and distribution of financial results, earnings releases, annual reports, and other investor relations communications.
- Utilize knowledge of financial markets and reporting standards to ensure clarity and accuracy in all financial communications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for financial media, craft press releases, and manage media inquiries
- Collaborate with senior management and various departments to translate business objectives into effective communication strategies.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and media.
- Organising media briefings, interviews, annual general meetings, and other events as required.
Skills and experience required
- Relevant corporate communications experience within publicly listed companies and proven track record in writing and editing financial communications, including press releases, annual reports, and earnings updates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
