Responsibilities
A Staffing Consultant is responsible for connecting employers with qualified candidates to meet their workforce needs. This role involves continuous business development, account management and recruitment.
Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities by networking. Initiate, develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their staffing needs
- Develop proposals and pitch staffing solutions to prospective clients
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to close deals with align with objectives
- Meet sales and placement targets to contribute to business growth
Account Management:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights on market trends and workforce planning
- Provide tailored workforce solutions by matching the right candidates to the right roles
- Monitor progress and execution of plan
- Maintaining relationships with clients and job seekers
Recruitment:
- Source, headhunt, screen, and interview candidates using various platforms (job boards, social media, referrals)
- Build a strong pipeline for current and future hiring needs
- Engage with job seekers (active and passive)
- Match candidates’ skills and career goals with client requirements
- Ensure a seamless and professional experience for all candidates throughout the process
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with potential candidates
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years' experience in sales / business development
- Ability to communicate with others via phone, video, social media and face-to-face meetings
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented organization
- Experience delivering results in a metrics-driven environment
- Passion for results, resilience, self-confidence and desire to do exceptional work
- You have a natural curiosity and a relentless determination to get things done - you like to WIN!
- Must be able to work in the office at least 2 days a week
- The position requires the consultant to travel to customer sites located in areas where public transportation may not be available
