Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple change requests and low/medium complexity projects simultaneously.
Track and manage project budgets and provide updates to stakeholders.
Prepare and assist in creating project-related documents (e.g., Statements of Work, estimates, and requirements analyses).
Facilitate team meetings and communicate project progress, risks, and issues to all stakeholders.
Provide weekly project status reports and updates to Program Managers, executive teams, and clients.
Ensure resource planning and forecasting are updated regularly to meet project timelines and deliverables.
Oversee project-level reporting in alignment with Symcor standards.
Proactively address project risks and variances, providing recommendations to keep projects on track.
Collaborate with others to ensure alignment with business objectives and due diligence activities.
Qualifications
Education: College diploma or undergraduate degree in a related field, or equivalent experience/training.
Experience:
At least 3-5 years of project coordination experience or 1 year of project management experience using structured methodologies.
Experience tracking budgets and delivering smaller projects or change requests.
Previous financial institution (FI) experience is a plus.
Familiarity with large, structured enterprise environments preferred.
Skills:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface directly with clients, stakeholders, and sponsors.
Strong business acumen and diplomacy when addressing client concerns.
Familiarity with waterfall project methodologies and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Ability to create and present detailed status reports to executive teams.
