A successful specialist support worker will be responsible for:

• Dedicate your experience and skills to support a teenager with autism and mental health issues
• Provide day-to-day support including activities, appointments, and family contact (driver's licence and business insurance preferred)
• Engage and encourage children or young people to participate in activities and establish structure
• Provide accurate reports to support care plans and goals

To be successful in your specialist support worker application, you will::

• Experience supporting children and young people in a residential setting
• Confidence to de-escalate situations and work with colleagues during heightened behaviours
• Prior CAMHS training desirable, but training will be provided
• Ability to make decisions and take action in challenging situations
• Strong communication and judgement skills
