About the Role:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialised Childcare Support Worker to join our team in Fife. In this role, you will provide vital support to children in a residential setting, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support to children in a 2:1 staffing ratio in a residential setting.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Promote a safe, positive, and supportive environment.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to meet the emotional, physical, and social needs of each child.
- Foster strong relationships with the child, offering guidance and support through their personal development.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 12 months of experience in UK-based children's residential or secure care services.
- Full UK driver's license with access to a vehicle (due to the location of the services).
- A caring, resilient, and empathetic nature.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
