Key Responsibilities
Tender and Procurement Management
- Coordinate and manage Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and other tendering processes for software.
- Evaluate supplier proposals based on criteria such as cost, functionality, compliance, and support.
- Ensure procurement processes are timely and in compliance with internal and external policies.
Contract Negotiation and Management
- Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels. Including reviewing the contract self-first.
- Ensure all software agreements include appropriate provisions for compliance, privacy, licensing, and cybersecurity.
- Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations.
Supplier Engagement
- Maintain relationships with key software vendors and service providers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for software-related inquiries and issue resolution.
Cost and Value Optimization
- Drive cost savings through competitive tendering and effective negotiations.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising on quality or compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure software purchases align with budget constraints.
Operational Support
- Support the IT and finance teams in tracking software licenses, usage, and compliance.
- Address day-to-day issues related to software procurement and vendor relations.
Incremental Strategic Contributions
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization in software procurement.
- Suggest ways to consolidate vendor portfolios or negotiate enterprise-wide agreements.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure software selections align with long-term digital transformation goals.
