The role can only accept applicants who have 2 years post qualifying experience and significant experience within a child protection team.
You will have a caseload of approximately 20 children.

Key Responsibilities:
Case Management:
- Manage a caseload of children in need, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and risks of children and their families.
- Develop, implement, and review care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
Intervention and Support:
- Provide direct support and intervention to children and families experiencing difficulties.
- Facilitate access to community resources and services to address identified needs.
- Offer guidance and advocacy to ensure children and families receive appropriate support.
Multi-Agency Collaboration:
- Work closely with other professionals, including healthcare providers, educators, and community organisations, to coordinate care.
- Participate in multi-agency meetings, case conferences, and planning sessions to ensure a holistic approach to support.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of children and families within the care system.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, care plans, and interventions.
- Prepare detailed reports for case reviews, care planning meetings, and other relevant processes.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements.
Hybrid Working:
- Balance office-based duties with remote working to manage your caseload effectively.
- Utilise digital tools and platforms to maintain communication and coordination with colleagues and clients.
- Attend in-person meetings and visits as required, while benefiting from the flexibility of working from home.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Fully qualified Social Worker within the UK
Registration:
- Fully registered with Social Work England
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in need, child protection, or a related field is essential.
- Strong assessment and case management skills.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases.
- Empathy, resilience, and a commitment to child welfare.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for remote working.
Minimum Requirements:
-SWE Registration
-2 year post qualifying experience within UK
