Job Title: Slinger

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Slinger to work on a construction site in Leicester. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting crane operators in lifting and moving heavy loads safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Assist crane operators with the movement and lifting of heavy loads
- Communicate with the crane operator using hand signals or radio communication
- Ensure the safety of all personnel on the site during lifting operations
- Rig and unrig loads for lifting operations
- Inspect and maintain slings, chains, and other lifting gear before and after use
- Follow all health and safety procedures and regulations on the site
Requirements:
- A valid CPCS Slinger/Signaller card
- Previous experience working as a Slinger on construction sites
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- Available to work long term
