Position: Fabric Engineer
Location: Newcastle
Randstad C&P are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mobile Multi-Skilled Fabric Engineer with an electrical bias to join our clients dynamic team. You will be majorly responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing a range of building systems and equipment, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with high quality standards. This role is based in Newcastle and involves covering a large commercial contract.
It is a full-time permanent opportunity and main working hours will be Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of electrical and mechanical
systems.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults across a wide range of commercial building services.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including conducting risk assessments and
maintaining safe working practices.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to the client's
operations.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including job sheets and maintenance logs.
- Liaise with the client and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
Requirements:
- Must hold the 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical bias.
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults and issues.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Full UK driving licence.
