Randstad C&P are currently recruiting for a Site Agent working on a high-profile highways scheme in the Guildford area. The role is working for a Tier One contractor, who have a strong order book following the completion of the scheme, which is scheduled for mid 2025! Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all on-site activities related to highway scheme, including Streetworks, road widening, re-surfacing and utility diversions.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and local authorities
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols to guarantee a safe working environment
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any issues that arise
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing similar packages on a highways scheme. Ideally working for a Tier One contractor although not essential
- Relevant civil engineering qualifications such as Bachelors Degree, HND, NVQ or equivalent)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Relevant tickets including NRSWA, SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
